Long Player Running Ltd provide running event services and receive personal data for the management of online event entries.
As part of the entry process, the entrant or customer provides personal details pertaining to their entry to the event as required.
These details include name, address, contact details (phone & email), demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests, date of birth, disclosed medical conditions, club / affiliation reference.
Long Player Running Ltd does not publish entrant lists.
Entrants may choose not to have their name published in the official results. Please let us know if this is the case.
How we collect data
Long Player Running Ltd will collect your Data in a number of ways, for example:
We automatically collect some information about your visit to the website. This information helps us to make improvements to website content and navigation, and includes your IP address, the date, times, and frequency with which you access the website and the way you use and interact with its content.
Where we store data

Where data is stored on a laptop for any period e.g. for timing or record keeping purposes, this is password protected and the hard drive is encrypted.

Details provided by the entrant are used for the purposes of effectively and safely staging/managing the event.
In some cases, portions of the entrant’s information may be shared with related third parties to facilitate official timing, results collation, and medical provision.
How long we keep data
Long Player Running Ltd collect only the minimum data required to conduct our business and retain full entrant details for future verification purposes.
Even if we delete your Data, it may persist on backup or archival media for legal, tax or regulatory purposes.
Marketing & Third Parties
Long Player Running Ltd. is not responsible for any third-party websites that are linked to on our website. You are responsible for reading and agreeing (or disagreeing) with the Terms and Conditions or Privacy Policies of these third parties.
